The YOU Group

Connecting Through Shippensburg State College (now Shippensburg University)

The YOU Group was founded in 1972 by a group of students from Chester, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania who met at Shippensburg State College. Their shared experience and friendship blossomed into a lasting community built on the simple yet powerful notion that 'YOU matter' and 'YOU have something special'. The YOU Group continues to foster this spirit of community care and empowerment.
